2020 Palencia Grenache

Lead-off aromas of cherry and graham cracker set the stage for subtle, beautifully nuanced flavors of chocolate-cherry cordial, strawberry, caramel, and butterscotch. There’s also a whisper of smoky/earthiness on the finish reminiscent of a fine, Burgundian-style red. An extremely versatile food wine, it should pair perfectly with veal, pork shoulder, or roast beef.
